TopCloserR Perspective
What we’d expect selling here to look like
SEC sells memberships to individual enablement professionals online and team plans, certifications and summit places to enablement leaders, with brand partnerships and sponsorships alongside. The team motion implies a book-a-call sale to a head of enablement, priced per member with a three-seat minimum.
What it builds, by career stage
- Breaking in
- For SDRs, BDRs and those aiming for a first sales role, the business implies reaching enablement managers and leaders who already know the community, booking calls about team plans and certifications.
- Building
- For account executives and account managers, it implies selling team plans, certification seats and summit packages to enablement leaders, then renewing and growing seat counts each year.
- Leading
- For sales managers and heads of sales, it implies running a team that sells both memberships and sponsorships to a buyer base of enablement professionals who are also the community's members.
Where it can take you
The experience transfers to sales roles at other professional communities, event companies and training providers. It also suits moves into sales enablement itself, since the buyers are enablement practitioners.
